ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Routines were disrupted and reinvented over the past year. During the pandemic, I created daily studies based on gratitude from the previous day. To experience the long-term results of this practice (and not just a moment in time), the individual pieces are then layered, stacked, and combined in a variety of ways. This piece acts as a visual diagram that documents my practice of gratitude—each thin "slice" representing a collection of small behaviors that work together to make positive change.
