Kristina Korneva, born in 1976, is an artist whose work captures the essence of nature and human emotion through abstract and impressionistic styles. With a degree in graphic design from the St. Petersburg Stieglitz Academy of Art and Industry, Kristina has exhibited in Russia and Kenya. Her work is in private collections in the United States, Canada, Russia and Kenya. Currently based in Kenya, where she has lived for the past two years, Kristina draws inspiration from the stunning natural beauty of the region. The powerful ocean, vibrant landscapes and vivid sunsets have deeply shaped her artistic direction. Her latest collections delve into the complexity of indigenous peoples’ identities, using a simple yet expressive visual language in painting and graphic design. Her work reflects a deep appreciation for people and the natural world, while her creative philosophy revolves around themes of love, kindness and unity. For Christina, art is not only a means of expression, but also a way to communicate with others and inspire positivity.
