I painted this artwork in the village Artyukhovka, this is small village completely surrounded by a pine forest. One extraordinary man invited me to visit this village. He wanted to turn his village into an art residence. A very beautiful snowy winter has stood out. This day was especially fresh for me all the time. This simple cute motive attracted me with its brevity, light and color. Pine trees illuminated by direct sunlight. While I was painting, Pushkin’s verse came to my head – «Coldfrost and sunshine, day of wonder ...» and I decided to call this artwork the same way. ARTIST: Alexander Korol WORK: Original oil Painting, Handmade artwork, One of a Kind Medium: Oil on Canvas TITLE: "Coldfrost and sunshine, day of wonder" SIZE: 55х70 cm/ 21.65x27.56 in YEAR: 2014 This painting is created on linen canvas, stretched on wooden bar, unframed. When I create my paintings, I use only high-quality materials. Upon completion of the work on the painting I cover it with a special fixing varnish, which protects the paint layer from external influences. Before sending I carefully pack the painting in a cardboard tube / box and wrap it with a protective film. All my works are unique and created in one copy.
