About The Artwork
'Composition': Cubistic-sculptural composition, centered by a large elliptic form. There is a balanced flow of forces through the stems and branches. The pulse of the visual energy goes from the center of the composition outwards, and back inwards to the central forms. The composition has a light, but monumental appearance. The weight and gravity of the forms change with the type and intensity of light in the room. The composition has clear and cool colors. I live and work in Northern Germany. To create my works, I draw and I paint. I am fascinated by the forces, movements and rhythms which connect us human beings with nature - they deliver the energy for my work. For me, the most important content of an individual work is the energetic and emotional field it creates. For my drawings charcoal is most important for me, because of its archaic and basic power and because of its tenderness. To paint I use mainly oil colors, also I use tempera with classical natural pigments. On Saatchi Art I present a selection of my works.
