He paints faces, silhouettes and figures. His portraits are combinations of realism, pop art and abstraction. This is definitely modern painting. Sharp, vivid, often bright, aggressive colors, strong, bold strokes of putty and brush, and contrasting patches of color, overlapping and interpenetrating layers creating a thick, intricate texture. The painting is supposed to make an impression, it should dominate the interior, it should be a focal point, not a background. Large formats complete the whole.
