I would describe myself as a forward thinking artist with a diverse pallet, and a taste for adventure on and off the canvas. My inspiration comes from my environment and I always try to keep things fresh on that front, which isn't overly challenging as an adventurous father of four. Growing up I spent the majority of my time training in the rocky mountains as ski racer. Summers were spent out in the country either at our family property by Sundre, AB or with my Uncle and Cousins out in the Kootenays of British Columbia. This lifestyle bread both a passion and deep respect for nature and the beautiful world we live in. While art and music always played a major role in my life and the lives of my wife and children, I didn't officially make it a career until a near death experience in late 2016 which left me in recovery for 18 months. During this time I was unable to purse the outdoor adventures I often loved which left me at a loss for an outlet. After a chance run in at the back country hot-springs with Jay Dee Bixby and Gord Arnold, I once again found a new outlet. Turning to the canvas, piano, guitar, and camera, I rediscovered my love for the arts. Now I work part time with my wife at our media firm while growing my career as a painter, photographer, producer, and teacher.
