Currently live on Strongs Neck, Long Island.I have a crystal clear memory of painting the wallpaper in my bedroom at age 3 using a toothbrush and a jar of vasoline petroleum jelly. I was, of course, severely admonished and didnt try to paint anything again until I was 5. I search through color and form for visions and revisions, chaos, resolution, redemption and radiance. I admire almost any type of painting if done well, honestly and from the heart. I am especially drawn to American Abstract Expressionism made popular in the 50s here on Long Island by such luminaries as De Kooning, Pollock, Krasner and Rothko.
