About The Artwork
The 'emotion of Love' is called 'Shringaar Ras'. The dancers express this beautiful emotion through their graceful movements. They are dancing in the classical Indian style called 'Odissi'. Typically they are dressed beautifully wearing white jasmine flowers as jewelry. I painted this couple inspired by their graceful movements and expression of Love.
