The 'painting some are naked' depitch a group of people, some clothed and some nude, crossing various lines on a colorful background with labyrinth symbols. The painting is inspired by the Tuileries Garden in Paris, a historical sit that has witnessed many events and changes since the 16th century. The park was created by Catherine de'Medici, the widow of King Henry II, as part of her new residence, the Tuileries Palace, in 1564. She commissioned an Italian architect and a French gardener to design a Renaissance-style garden with fountains, statues, and a labyrinth. The garden was also the scene of many historical events, such as the storming of the Tuileries Palace during the French Revolution, the coronation of Napoleon I, and the burning of the palace by the Paris Commune in 1871. The painting by contrasting between the naked and the clothed figures, create a dynamic composition that evokes the movement and diversity of the people. I hope the viewers will think about the vulnerability of the human condition, and how some people are more exposed than others. The painting also evoke a feeling about how the clothed and the unclothed related to each other in terms of power, status, or desire. It also is reflection on the Florence Biennale 'I am you theme', where it has some similarities or are in family with the painting by de Hansi (2023) "Violettas red room". The painting is created by overpainting of a previous artwork by the artist with the title Residential area (2023).

Zonation paintings focus on integrating and balancing the elements: lines, tones and colours. I follow an expressionist painting philosophy inspired by Cézanne, Kleé and followers. Motives: Copenhagen cityscapes, croquis, stilleben. Artworks in acrylics, oil, aqua oil, multicoloured chalk, aquarelle and pencils. Art talk: Artist video: http://vimeo.com/5322606 Artist podcast (Fr): I use the acronym 'de Hansi' in order to distinct my painting activities from my professional work as a hydrologist. I am a Danish hydrologist currently working as a principal investigator and researcher at the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland at Øster Voldgade 10, 1350 in Copenhagen (working in close cooperation with Copenhagen University institute for geology and geography). I am known for my research in the field of hydrogeology, with a focus on groundwater resources and their management, as well as the impact of climate change on groundwater systems. I have published many papers in the international scientific journals, and I am also a member of several scientific organisations.
