About The Artwork
Attempting to make a colorful version of two earlier painings (The space between 1 and The space between 2) all of a sudden the idea of a tree appeared, most probably as a result of reading about Kalpataru, the Indian mythical tree. Because of the importance of the roots of trees - basically the other half of trees, connecting to the wood wide web - I firmly rooted the tree in the dark, fertile ground.
