The Blue Dancers is a very special painting, in my opinion. I tend to think that the painting doesn’t depict four dancers/, but of one girl warming up before a performance. I love that Degas "cropped" one dancer's head. Some say it was because Degas was using photographs that were blurry and didn't...

Currently in Qingdao, China The main direction is portrait painting. I depict images of people and how they live their lives. My goal is to explore and allow the viewers to discover not only the life and traditions of Ukraine, but also the cultural differences and peculiarities of different ethnic groups. The painting technique depends on the purpose, usually I use primed canvas and oil paints. I prefer to listen to the viewer reveal the work rather than to tell them about the meanings at the very beginning, while they do not yet have a certain point of view. All my life I am engaged in creativity in its various manifestations. In my work I like to show people and their relationships, emotions and nature. I like to prepare well for the work, to think up a plot, to create sketches and studies. But most of all I like the fact that I don't know until the end what the end result will be. I like spontaneous decisions and moving away from the initial idea.
