This is Art Blanche. I have always been fascinated by the idea of capturing moments through the lens of a camera. In 2004, I began my journey into the world of photography, and it quickly became an alternate reality for both the model and myself. Each photoshoot became an opportunity to explore and create an entirely new world, one that existed only in the final images produced. As I continued to hone my craft, I found myself drawn to themes that explore vulnerability, eroticism, body and gender positivity, and androgyny. With each photoshoot, I sought to create a visual language that supported the session's theme, drawing the viewer in and immersing them in a world of raw emotion and unbridled passion. My style is balanced between two main styles: hard, dark "film noir" style shadows and ethereal light images with infinite softness. By blending these two opposing styles, I create a visual experience that is both striking and alluring, capturing the viewer's attention and holding it. Through my art, I seek to capture the transformation from what we see to what we are. Each image is a record of that transformation, a testament to the raw and unbridled power of the human spirit. My art is a celebration of life and all its complexities, an invitation to step outside of yourself and explore the depths of your own humanity.
