Ragini Parekh

Born in the most colorful land of India, Gujarat, Ahmadabad in a traditional family rich with culture and colors. Ragini is highly inspired by bright colors and textures from the urban tradition of Gujarat. Ragini has been working as a self motivated artist since her childhood. She likes to experiment with various traditional textures in fabric, wood, mirrors and threads. Her art is completed with ceramic powders, fabric colors and glitters, acrylic and oil. Ragini is a very inquisitive about exploring various art forms and create mixture of tradition in a single art piece.

Ragini has already made an impression in few local art lovers in United States. Her unique mix and match of subtle colors through use of original rural local fabric in India creates a very distinctive flavor
in any modern architecture.

Ragini is currently based in city of Pune in India.
