Randi Schaanning Jrgensen

I am a Norwegian and one of the 45 generation. I had a another full time job besides my artwork for years. In the last five years I`v been painting full time. And I love it! My paintings are mostly made in acryl on canvas. Only few paintet in oil.
I`m fascinated of children, mountains (nature), non figuratives and paintings from the ekspressjonism.

1 year in Kunst og Hndtverkskolen for drawing (40 years ago) At the time I`m a member of Braerum Maleklubb - my teatcher for 3 years, Mr. Gerhard Waegeneire, and thee last 3 years Mr. Bjoern Helge Hansen was my teacher.
For the time beeing I am studying acryl- and oil painting.
I`m a amember of Fine Art, Palettklubben. (Where one of my pictures is called, "Soeskenkjaerlighet" illustrated in the art book "En dag i mitt liv" - 2007).
I had a succesful exehibition in Rikshospitalet Oslo - 2007.
Of course - a member of Saatchi Online for å couple of years. Showdown in April/May my picture "Glimpse of Hope" adwanced "close" to the third round!
