The Let Go was created on vintage Industrial Dress Pattern paper. Letting go means being willing to allow life to carry you to a new place, even a deeper more true rendition of self. However “letting go” means deep involvement in life – because there is a lack of attachment to the outcome. True detachment isn’t a separation from life but the absolute freedom within your mind to explore living.

South Africa
Im a female artist from Cape Town, South Africa. I have been painting for the last 20 years, with no formal art education. My journey started with a box of Vintage Dress Patterns which was turned into a skirt on a metal wired Mannequin and from there to canvas. I have sold many pieces all over the world like Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Madagascar, San Francisco, New York etc. I have exhibited in London at the Art of Africa Gallery. Currently Im working with good old fashion Brown Paper and Vintage Navigation Charts. I only sketch woman and make use of pencils, charcoal and Acrylic paint.
