About The Artwork

The series was born from self-observation, from observing simple processes in life and feeling them through oneself as an object of observation. This way of self-perception and perception of the world as a part of oneself led to the observation of the “inconspicuous”, the inconspicuous, that which people usually lose sight of because it is not in their understanding an intelligible object or meaning. Shadows of people walking by Counter-forms of items Illegal, non-intact objects that are visible through a window or doorway or between two large objects Shadows of tree leaves rustling in the wind, a dynamic, elusive and incredibly lively moment! A pile of clothes piled up before washing, a wonderful play of abstract shapes and colors, and most importantly, no meaning Silhouettes of mountains, sea view from a tent, courtyard in the archway Nuanced differences in the painting of a wall somewhere on a house in the city This series and this approach allowed me to see in my other series “homework” one of the approaches that appeared on its own, namely the way of working with counter-forms and the game when something is like an image-fragment in the opening of the reality of the general canvas. This series of collages is so more static and balanced compared to the “homework” series and at the same time, in my opinion, it is such a harbinger of the next stage of creativity on a larger scale on canvas or perhaps with volumetric frames, such a transitional stage… what can I say, spaces between…

My name is Egor Fruit, and I am an artist. My work encompasses abstract painting, graphics, and post-graffiti, sometimes delving into performance, sculpture, and installations. I would say I have no limits in expression in this Arts Game. My background in graffiti has given me the freedom of interpretation and the courage to express myself on large scales and in open spaces. Additionally, my experiences in graphic design, illustration, and higher education in interior design have played a role in shaping my artistry. However, the most profound influence on my life and art was the experience of enlightenment that occurred in 2013. It marked the end of everything, a period of emptiness, and the beginning of a new "me." Since then, my artistic journey has taken me down paths of shamanism, mysticism, and the very essence of life, all through the lens of a single individual. My pieces speak to the subconscious, bypassing the level of thoughts and emotions. As viewers contemplate my artwork, they delve into themselves, transcending the noise of self-awareness and worldly knowledge to find solace in inner silence. In this context, I see myself not only as an artist depicting ideas but also as a conduit of energy into this world, like a projector. Through my pieces as portals, individuals can experience themselves in a different dimension, escaping the torrent of information, thoughts, and feelings to be alone with themselves. The "meditation" cycle has been the primary focus of my work for the past eight years, exploring the inner state of perception. Additionally, my series "Homework" and "Spaces Between," which began around four to five years ago (though the exact timeline is uncertain), delve into perceiving beyond the layers visible to the spectator. Each piece I create carries this energy, representing the essence of art for me at the moment. However, at a certain point, I lost my connection with the audience and entered a cocoon period, exploring my own depth. Like a caterpillar before turning into a butterfly, uncertain of what it will become, something new is yet to emerge. Currently, I primarily work with collages, abstract painting, and ceramics. Additionally, I am the author of the Sunyata project, where I engage with people as a healer of their souls, embodying Loving Pure Consciousness through both dialogue and art. Life is art.
