The oldest way for anyone to meet the unprecedented or the unexpected and change his way of thinking or attitude due to the highly transformative power of this experience, is to move from place to place. In our time, despite the standardization of what we call "travel" - in all its semantic manifestations and the long and largely unknown adventure of its expansion- by the "tourism industry", does not cease to hold that primary "magic" that has always been involved in the experience of human moving. The unity of these presented works is part of a broader ongoing project, homage to this very primordial experience and aims to explore and resurrect aspects of it as a "state of mind", without lacking spiritual or metaphysical depth. Because being on the roads, if one is left travelling, one will encounter places, persons or situations that reside in the rift between possibility and reality, which dare to speak of what they do not know. The viewer is therefore called to become himself a traveler, to remain open as to his availability; to confess his blind or silenced palpations; like roulette that balances in the fragile limit of the random and the necessary; like the images were created, as places of internal search primarily, but which support and respect the "material" that stands somewhere out there and does not wait for us.
