About The Artwork

Francisco Javier Ramos González [2004, Coahuila, Mexico] is an emerging visual and plastic artist hailing from Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico. His artistic output encompasses a diverse range of artistic mediums. The fundamental creative principle of his work is based on the incorporation of recognizable objects and the portrayal of situations that closely resemble reality, frequently centered around the utilization of the human figure. Employing a metaphorical language, Francisco aims to expand the audience's sense of wonder, crafting compositions and settings that encourage contemplation and introspection. The focus is on highlighting the inherent harmony between the pursuit of exploration and the borders of perception. Finding beauty in the ordinary, tradition, existentialism, and self-actualization, Francisco uses art as a tool for self-reflection. His artistic journey has been profoundly influenced by various artists and literary figures, including Magritte, Leonora Carrington, González Camarena, Aurora Reyes, Juan O'Gorman, Ana Ajmatova, Saturnino Herrán among others. He perceives art as a means of exploration and deepening, a way to challenge norms and delve into the complexities and intellectual yearnings of both individuals and human culture. In his perspective, art transcends the confines of the plastic arts, as each individual possesses a distinct approach to expressing their worldview and life experiences, utilizing a diverse range of existing mediums. For Francisco, art is the culmination of an individual's creative endeavor, embodying consciousness, peace, freedom, discovery, anxiety, and love. It serves as a profound reflection of one's self and the world around them.
