"Cash Flow." Painting

This painting is diptych oil painting. The top part of the painting is turquoise that rolls towards you- while the lime green wave rolls across the painting and the third section and bottom section of the painting is a deep tranquil blue. The energy combination between the top turquoise and the lime green are exact opposite as is the bottom portion of the painting(Deep Blue) and the lime green wave. The combination of all three colors brings different energy waves to the viewer. The turquoise, even though it's a calming color energy, is full of motion and light as it rolls towards you. The lime green wave is a charge of high energy but as you follow it down into the deep abyss it balances the energy to be more cohesive as one giant rolling wave of positive energy. This painting has multiple energy channels and vortexes. It's very hard to photo my work because of the tensions in the color fields and the way I infuse the motion and energy and light into the painting. One curator from San Fransisco said that my paintings were in a constant state of tension and release...and that they actually looked and felt alive...as if they were actually breathing. The energy from this painting is a major force! Naming the painting I knew it had something to do with waves flowing in... the lime green wave is the cash rolling in.
