Dive deep, deep into a realm where the conscious mind barely treads. It is here, from this profound unconscious abyss, that the essence of this painting emerges. Every stroke, every hue, every shape has its genesis in a place that even words often fail to capture. My painting odyssey commences, not with a brush or a palette, but with meditation. A deep, resonating meditation that clears the chatter, the noise, the everyday. From that stillness, a spontaneous drawing emerges, leading, eventually, to the vibrant tableau you see before you. At first glance, you might discern abstract shapes of dancers, fluid and ethereal, each form flowing into the other, creating a tapestry of motion and life. But look closer. Cleverly interwoven and superimposed on these dancers, you'll find a face. A face so meditative, so tranquil, it's as if it's basking in the glow of the universe itself. These dancers aren't just whimsical additions. They embody the energy, the primal force that courses through the very channels of our being. They're more than mere illustrations; they're manifestations of that transformative energy inherent in all of us. Every twirl, every leap, every graceful arc represents the energy that has the power to transform, to uplift, to enlighten. The painting beckons you to understand that within each of us lies this boundless energy. It's transformative. It's potent. Yet, it carries with it a grace, a beauty, illustrated by these dancing forms. They don’t just dance; they soar, weaving and intertwining with the meditative face, illuminating the path to enlightenment. In essence, this is not just a painting—it's a narrative. A narrative of energy and enlightenment. A depiction of the rhythm that resides within all, waiting, yearning to dance. So, dear art lover, as you stand before this piece, remember: it's more than colors and shapes. It's a journey. A journey from the unconscious to enlightenment. Dive in, and let the dance begin.

Born in the artistically-rich enclave of Great Neck, NY, a haven that burgeoned as a refuge for New York City's prolific intellectuals and artisans, my journey was serendipitously set against a canvas of inspiration. A bucolic suburb that whispered tales of creativity, Great Neck bore witness to my artistic inception, my earliest strokes of passion, and my incessant yearning to create. From the symphonies of Beethoven to the sonatas of Chopin, melodies of music danced in the very air I breathed. It was my father, an accomplished concert pianist, who first planted in me the reverence for artistic expression. Each note he played taught me that art was not just an expression—it was a lifeline. Together with this, my mother, a beacon of encouragement, ushered me into the world of color and form, setting me on painting lessons when most kids were still doodling with crayons. At the early age of 11, I found myself amidst the verdant environs of Bucks Rock Work Camp. This wasn't any ordinary summer camp, but a sanctuary dedicated to nurturing the budding artist within every child. Here, amidst the fragrant pines and campfire songs, my hands danced across diverse mediums. From the whirl of the potters wheel to the rugged contours of wood, I crafted countless pieces—each echoing my journey. Ceramics, metal and wood sculpture, oil painting; my fingers wove magic in them all. Yet, as the rebellious teen years dawned, the siren call of music lured me once again. The intricate nuances of jazz guitar became my muse, leading me to delve deeper into the world of rhythms and melodies. This fervent passion saw me majoring in music composition at the prestigious University of Michigan. Life post-college unfurled a melange of experiences. To make ends meet and the soul fulfilled, I became a production artist, while simultaneously managing my renowned New Wave band, Kammer Musik, as we often played CBGBs. But as destiny would have it, graphic design beckoned, and I found myself climbing the ladder of creativity, holding esteemed art director positions at bastions like Seventeen, The New York Times, and the legendary Saks Fifth Avenue. Here, amidst the world of high fashion and lens flares, working shoulder to shoulder with some of the globe's iconic photographers, my aesthetic evolved, refined, matured. 2012 marked a poignant return to my first love—drawing. The Spring Street Studio, with its live models, became a regular haunt.
