I did this graphic work from an engraving on cardboard. The plot was a real amarylis in a flowerpot. First, I made a few pencil sketches from nature. Then I chose one of the most interesting sketches and finalized it for engraving. Then she transferred the drawing to the engraving. Created an engraving using various techniques of engraving on cardboard. Received 2 original successful prints. This is the first print. The original graphics were hand-printed on 100 g natural paper. I used high quality linocut inks for printing. The size of the graphic work is 41.7x29.7 cm. Signature and date on front and back sides. All original works of art are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

I am a member of the Creative Union of Lithuanian Artists. I never thought before that in creativity is so much analysis. The more experienced I become, the clearer I understand this. To create an artwork, you need to analyze many aspects: plot, state of nature, tone, color, light and shadow, object, silhouette, shape and texture, color spots, find composition, technique and manner of painting, etc. Come up with an artistic image, think over the meaning and understand how to picture it. And here my professional experience in the IT industry helps me. It is necessary to analyze the collected data and make a decision. So it is in creativity. There are many things in art that you need to keep in mind in order to create a painting. I was born, studied and now live and create in the historic city Vilnius. I believe that beauty is everywhere, sometimes in the simplest things. You just need to notice it. I am inspired by the color and combination of colors, the coloration that can be traced in different states of nature. I am fascinated by the picturesqueness. I am trying to image exactly these emotions and feelings. I also like lines, silhouette and pattern. Apparently that's why I like to work both in painting and in graphics. I prefer painting in oil technique, where the color is revealed in full force. I choose the technique for drawing the one that better emphasizes the idea. It can be watercolor, ink, gouache or acrylic, tempera, pencils or pastels. In graphics I often work in mixed media and combine different approaches.
