Titel: “AT THE BEACH” - While you are alive collect moments not things. Association to my acrylic painting “AT THE BEACH”: Abstract shades of blue and turquoise, should bring to mind a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The peaceful nature of the beach, creating a sense of calm and relaxation and the varying shades of blue embody the sky meeting the horizon, creating a feeling of openness and expansiveness. About me and my paintings: I paint in layers. I love colors, shapes and textures. I am a believer that color affects people’s moods. There’s a reason we don’t see the world in black and white. Petra Lang Contemporary Artist | Painter. Works and lives nearby Linz | Austria | Europe. I have drawn and painted since childhood. I work mostly in acrylic, usually on canvas, although I also enjoy working in other media. My approach to painting is spontaneous and intuitive. I'm influenced by the nature as well by worn and weathered elements in the environment that reveal unusual colours, textures, and patterns. I studied social science and marketing in Austria and UK and worked in the field of graphic design and marketing. While working I always kept a paint brush near.
