I spend the majority of my photography time covering rodeos, bull riding, calf roping and barrel races in the American southwest. I enjoy making photographs and when I feel lucky, I select those that I think will work as fine art; something that someone may want to hang in their home or office. All art is subjective, photography probably more than most other art forms, so I don't really try and please anyone but me. Sometimes, others like what I do.
I work with several rodeo event organizations covering their rodeos, bull riding, barrel races and calf roping. I enjoy that environment...the dirt & dust, sweat, mud and smells. I like the people too, those who ride and watch. When I take a break from rodeos, I usually wander the desert and mountains, searching for something that inspires me.
