The myth of progress
We- especially here in the west- believe that because we have made strides in the fields of technology, political systems...etc.... That we have somehow set these foundations in immovable stone. And along with this, we have somehow evolved our innate nature, to match these artificial crutches. Yet, like the water of our little world, which is forever, in cycles, being regurgitated, never truly altered, so is our collective nature- endlessly spinning in place in the same way. These works carry a part, or parts of this philosophy.
