Selected Works
Mulling on the absurd mind games we play on our ourselves there is something beautifully honest and deeply profound I enjoy in the art of young children: the bold and unbridled freedom of their exuberant imagination, their unshaken confidence and pure innocence and directness.
We seem predisposed to delight with adultist amusement, and sometimes patronizingly, at the bold imagination of children, but ironically, as adults we often fervently adhere to and live by, beliefs, superstitions, ideologies, and perceptions that, upon close inspection, have far more fantastic origins than those of children.
