Strata Morphosis

Strata Morphosis This is a collection of five abstracts paintings based on the natural ageing and disintegration, seen in nature. The passage of time and exposure to the elements in the journey through life creates layers that add to the value, texture and dimensionality of a subject. This experience and aesthetic appeal created by the interaction with the surroundings are added in life, in nature, on surfaces creating character and depth seen captured at a certain moment in time when the subject has maximum appeal to the viewer, the ‘youth phase’, before leading to complete decay. This change is seen on all surfaces and in atmospheric effects in nature.
