Digital Remixes

When the painting is finished, the painting is not the end. The work is photographed at various stages during the creation. Using these photographs he digitally recreates the painting. Or as he calls it, he 'Digitally Remixes' it. The paintings’ original concept is re-examined, a counter argument, or an agreement is made. The painting and the digital work form part of a conversation. The combined work reflects his personal struggle to abandon the past (painting) and embrace the future (digital).
