Knitting In Painting

I am focusing on a craft of knitting as an art. My improvised knitted creature like shapes within my paintings may seem chaotic and wild, but the opposite is true. Knitting is a very calm, soothing and Zen like craft. All of my knitted delicate pieces have organic and see through forms carefully blended with painted abstract shapes, thus creating enigmatic impressions directed toward the viewer. I am hoping to transform the deepest feeling of each observer in such a way that he/she will imagine the inner world of the universe, from micro to macro organisms, through my art. I want my viewer to explore the possibilities of his/her imagination while looking at soothing complexities in my paintings.
