Laniakea

Laniakea (Vast or immeasurable sky in Hawaiian language) is the name of the supercluster of galaxies to which the Milky Way, the Solar System, and of course, the Earth belong. Laniakea is a series of paintings that seeks to imagine abstractly certain images of our universe, reinterpreting an imaginary world that has been flooded with false images, digital reconstructions, and colors that probably have nothing to do with reality. From the images of Saturn's rings recorded by the Cassini probe to the most recent ones of the Red Planet captured by Curiosity, thousands of depictions of our universe become the starting point for this series of abstract paintings.
