Looking Closer

Raised in the country, close to nature, Carolyn has always closely observed earth's formations. Now, years later, these impressions make their way into her art. Microscopic images come from Carolyn's own sketches and are expanded 1000% using mixed mediums of pastels, acrylic paint, string and gold leaf.
