Tortured Soles

A collection of crippling footwear addressing our female ambivalence to fashion and self image. Tortured Soles comprises thirty pairs of unwearable shoes. First pop up boutiques were in London's Soho, Covent Garden, and Hoxton's BookArtBookShop, before trotting north to Lyth, John O' Groats in 2011, and to Waterville, S.Ireland Easter 2019. Prints on paper of the 'Tortured Soles' are available for purchase. Size 40 x 40 cm
