About Blagoje Savic
Blagoje Savic was born on 7th April 1961 in Sula near the town of Pljevlja in Montenegro. He completed his education in Nange, Sula, Gradac, Titograd, Belgrade and London. Blagoje engaged with art from a very early age, but his career as a serious artist began in Belgrade thirty years ago, where he was noted as a talented artist with a striking and distinctive style. His artistic activity, is reflected in varying techniques, (drawings, graphics, oils and water colours). Since 1980 he has been prolific in his out put, both as an individual and as a participant in group events, winning a number of awards for his work. During the time he lived in Belgrade Serbia, from 1981 to 1993, in addition to his artistic activity he also concurrently worked as a freelance journalist and writer. He is the author of three volumes of poems and is a member of both the Association of Serbian writers and the association of Serbian journalist, as well as being a member of the International Association of journalists. Since 1993 he has been living permanently in London where he continues to professionally engage in artistic creativity.
1987 in Belgrade ( in the house of Dura Jaksic the Serbian poet and artist), 1989 Galerija 75 in Belgrade, 1990 Art Gallery in Vienna, 1992 Expo 92 in Saville, and in 1993 International Exhibition of miniature paintings in Toronto. He has also exhibited in Germany Poland and England.
