Currently based in Geneva. Graphic poet/artist,independent writer. Published my second book of poems "My Soul on a Platter" recently by Writers Workshop in India and now promoting it in Switzerland. Also introducing a my concept of "Words and Colors", expressions of graphic poetry through oil and acrylic paintings on canvas and line drawings of ink on paper to express my thoughts and feelings though mixed media. Also working on my first novel and blogs about tea rooms, epicurean shops,cafes.'Geneva Art Connect' takes up most of my time. Previously worked in Geneva for various international organizations on Gender and Human Rights.Currently working with photographers and other artists drawing an inspiration from them to write and paint on a project called "Through expressions", paving the way for Peace 365.
Currently working as a freelance journalist,promoting my second book of English poems, writing my new novel.Also painting and drawing and writing poetry to go with the "Colors and Words" project. Previously worked with various international organizations and UN agencies in Geneva, then with NGOs and organizations in India,Africa and USA. Also worked for a very short while as Copy Writer with Ogilvy Mather,India.
I have a Gender and Human Rights background with developmental economics and Human Rights Law. Having come from a Sociology background, it has an impact on my writing and art. Having studied English Literature in my BA along with Psychology and Sociology, the multidisciplinary approach remains and it reflects in my artwork.
