The historic three-masted sailing ship, the Rickmer Rickmers, lies majestically at Hamburg's jetties. An HVV boat chugs down the Elbe, harbour cranes and the Lohm and Voss shipyard are dimly visible on the horizon. The picture is painted partly with squeegees and partly with brushes, so that the sky and water have a high degree of abstraction, while the Rickmer Rickmers is depicted in relative detail. An atmospheric harbour painting that fits into both a modern and a classic ambience. The edges are black, the painting can be hung without additional framing.

Germany
Art is the art of reinventing oneself again and again. Her paintings are like memories for her: emerging from the darkness, fleeting and yet succinct, incomplete in some areas, in others developing a life of their own, detaching themselves from reality and thereby offering the viewer something new, something not seen before. Always looking for new means of expression, enjoying experimenting with different styles and motifs! With pleasure also with squeegees and spatulas, in acrylic and oil. Her paintings are characterised by a positive, life-affirming approach with strong colours and clear pictorial structures. The joy of visual impressions, the play with ever new tones and compositions, and the eternal search for the optimal expression of what seems essential to her. Sometimes a struggle, sometimes a gift that flies to her. In this respect, painting for her is closely related to making music on the piano and seems to her an allegory to daily life. Although she has only been offering her paintings for sale for three years, they can already be found in private collections worldwide, especially in Europe, the UK and the USA.
