There was a Buddhist temple asked me to write a few words for them. So I made two colored calligraphy. One in off white, another in black. Both are with gold fabric behind as the background. They bother are stunningly beautiful, but I like the black one more. It shows a dignified character with such a spirited nature. It matters to the Buddhists in general. THe color I chosen for the calligraphy is also very Buddhist alike. In Asia, the monks wear a kinda of golden colored robes, their behavior and manner shows their dignified personality; kind, honest, dignified, thoughtful and simple.

Luo, is a self-taught artist. She moved to US from Beijing nearly a decade. Her complexes of memories exist, vanish, and then reappear, ancient and yet modern.
