About The Artwork
I've been using the image of the horse head for around ten years. I was inspired by a modern, random ceramic of the Greek classical period, that my family owned. I drew the horse heads over and over until they became natural and done in seconds, like a signature. I translated the image back into ceramic, this is the first one I made at the beginning of 2021. I had it fired and glazed at a ceramicist in Coin, a mountain town near Malaga.

Imaginative play is a significant component of the work, he was influenced by Picasso's technique of "unlearning", emulating childlike drawings.
