There is nothing mundane about life and all that surrounds me which is where I garner my inspiration. The absurdity of my world and my experiences in it feed my creativity in a way I can only best be described in pictures. As an extension of myself, my work offers a glimpse into my own irreverent sense of humor. In the mind of the irreverent, the mundane becomes insane with just a twist of perspective altering the perception of what can seem otherwise ordinary or random.
My work brings to life my vivid internal conversations consisting of thoughts and views in a way I am unable to articulate in words. Like the inter-workings of internal dialogue, my work uses many images and layers of hidden messages and pictures embedded within. It is the pictorial equivalent of talking in circles in a seemingly endless conversation of the absurd--"Conversation Ricochet." A picture really is worth a thousand words and for those who know me know I have at least that many. My hope is for my work to stir an internal dialogue with its viewer.
