Agnes Senga

My work is usually organised by series (from 10 to 40 paintings) on one theme.This painting illustrate my new work in 3-D. I experiment with the volume and the spatial aspect of the canvas. Forms, colour and texture are important in my work, which together with the folds and forms of the canvas, work to represent light and shade. I combine the abstract and the figurative, and so reveal the in-between , or what I call the third element : space, volume, the third dimension its a new artistic approach.
