Stuart Haydock

Upon leaving secondary school I spent a successful 10 years within the Royal Navy travelling the world I subsequently work as a Specialist Acquisitions Consultant in Residential & Commercial property. I am married and have 3 sons and currently reside on Romney Marsh in Kent. I was born colour blind and previously felt that the world of art was too complex for my understanding, although I have always enjoyed looking at various paintings and the way different artists go about their personal journey with colour and telling us their story. It wasn't until recently that I was encouraged to start applying paint to various mediums that I have now found much enjoyment from colour, texture and different applications of paint. I am extremely passionate about my paintings and firmly believe an artist should paint from the heart, of which I hope this comes across in the finished painting. Although I am in complete awe of a great deal of original artists I have tried and hopefully succeeded in finding my own style!
