Allan Maxwell

My work is of the studio and a reflection of my imagination. These images are studio still-life constructions meant to celebrate color and the photographic process. Visual narratives both real and imagined help carry the image along, creating a place for the viewer to construct their own context. As a photographer for over thirty years, I’ve received “Individual Artist Fellowships” from State Arts Councils of Florida and Pennsylvania. My work has been exhibited nationally and is in several museum collections.
