Alma Trtovac

My works mostly consist of paintings and multimedia art. One of the main topics, ideas and concerns that I like to address and depict in my works is the heterogeneousness and complexity of the notion of reality and our perception of it.

I was born in Zagreb in 1988. In 2012 I completed my Graduate Studies in painting at The Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb under the mentorship of Professor Zoltan Novak. During my undergraduate studies I finished 6 semesters of photography (taught by Boris Cvjetanović and Marko Ercegović), 2 semesters of photography at The Academy of Dramatic Art (taught by Darije Petković), as well as 4 semesters of printmaking (taught by Tanja Dabo). I am a member of Croatian Association of Fine Artists, as well as the Croatian Freelance Artists Association.
