Anna Shneivas

I am a self-taught artist from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Before I became an artist, I was a construction engineer, but four years ago I decided to change my life, quit my job and started to draw. Most of my works depict people, but also I draw naive animals.

A human being is the most interesting item for me.
I want to catch their emotions and reflect it in my works. I use curved lines and volumes to express a motion, a flow, a life, a freedom. Because there is no straight lines in nature, and all humans are part of it.

Some of my portraits were drawn from photos, which I took in the subway or other places, some of artworks were pictured during life sessions with model.
