I am a visual artist based in Cambridgeshire and am a member of the Cambridge Drawing Society. My practice is strongly informed by science and nature. I use biomimicry as a process to create detailed abstract drawings. This work is an exploration between order and chaos; behind apparent randomness, the process is highly ordered, following simple rules. By experimenting simple forms and mimicking the way they grow, the repetition of simple growth patterns in an unpredictable way create an image of structural complexity.
