About The Artwork

About handling information. It seems as if the concept of truth is difficult to define and the question of whether there can be a final truth at all should remain open here. The three Guardians of truth are dedicated to a mental experiment: if the truth is considered as an accumulation of maximum information density, it depends on whether all information is actually available and who has access. In addition, the question arises whether neutral handling of information is even possible. This cannot be assumed in every case, as there are various reasons why information is fragile, lost or manipulated. Considering human vanity and subjective endeavors, truth can be a very fragile affair. What would it mean if a neutral authority could preserve information and protect it from manipulation or even loss? An omniscient authority that could fully do justice to the title “Guardian of truth”. What consequences would it have for our happenings in life and for historiography in general? Could the immense data storage made possible by developments in information technology be viewed as such a neutral authority, or is this science also influenced by human vanity? In this context, the three anonymous figures have found their way onto paper. The three faceless guardians wrapped in a veil stand for an emotional and intellectual process of research, knowledge and preservation of information. They are similar to humans and yet they are not really human. Pencil on paper.

Drawing, watercolor and nature photography. I am fascinated by the interplay of light and shadow, but also by details and natural structures. Trees and their strong roots, mountain landscapes, the Mediterranean Sea and abstract reflections are among my favorite topics. I would like to share my impressions with you and bring the enchantment of nature into your home. My creative activities are dedicated to nature photography in Alicante province (Spain) and Saxony (Germany), as well as drawing and watercolour painting. Long hikes in the mountains, through forests and along the Mediterranean coast inspire me a lot. When I am out in nature and let my gaze wander over the vast landscape, the clocks seem to tick a little slower. For this reason, thoughts about time and change also influence my work. There is so much beauty around us every day. It depends on us whether we see it. In my opinion, drawing and photography are wonderful ways to capture impressions and the magic of the moment. With my pictures and the stories surrounding them, I would like to inspire and motivate people to spend more time in nature and to experience it consciously with all their senses. I was born in Germany. A few years ago I decided to emigrate to Spain. With the selection of photos and graphics shown here, I would like to express both my love for nature and my passion for photography and art. I am currently living on the Costa Blanca, where I´m surrounded by a beautiful coastal scenery, impressive rock formations and bright sunlight.
