Sancho is autistic (Asperger's Syndrome) and this often leads to an extreme focus on particular details within his work. Sancho's work is largely executed via pencil and paper thus carrying the associations of hard labour and time spent covering the page with a sharp point. Certainly, there are signs of weaponry and sharp edges cutting through the images and the variations in the chequerboard background create the effect of disorientation. Inspired by Surrealism, he makes use of silhouetted female forms to provide soft curvaceous relief.
