Silhouettes You can access artist’s inspiration from the celebrations, dance events, ferias, festivals taking place in Andalucía, Spain These feminine silhouettes were picked up in Sevilla, Granada and Malaga. Whirls of colors, passion, movements, happiness, fatigue, drama. Girls could be professional flamenco dancers or just models, dressed in traditional Spanish dresses. The technique of this series is gouache and pastel over Canson paper. Drawings are made quickly as sketches, just to pick up a silhouette. And pastel strokes in several layers give the artworks depth and vibrancy.
