About The Artwork
Through my drawings, the main area of research has been directed towards the 21st Century global pandemic and the subsequent state of emergency. The shared experiences of a global lockdown have been inspirational towards a reawakening of memories and the exploration of these memories in disambiguous environments. The simplicity of the media, namely drawings on paper, offers a synchronistical shadow-side to some of the complexities of the globally restricted emergency.
