Sandra Issa, Thinking of Syria, 2014, marker on newspaper and fabric, 26x19cm Thinking of Syria is a work I made in Beirut, thinking of how fast this beautiful country where I used to go as a tourist, turned so fast into a living nightmare. I did this work also because I have met so many young Syrians in Beirut trying to rebuild a new life there.
