The "deep blue sea" is a piece I worked on when I desperately needed an escape from the realities the youth face in Nigeria. October 2020, was a period where the tags #EndSars and #EndPoliceBrutality were trending world-wide. This was a movement kickstarted by the youth who are the prime targets of the injustice we face from the hands of the people who are meant to protect us. Creating this piece was my escape. It took my mind out of this terrible world into a world where life seems simpler. Size: 23.4 x 23.4 in Limited Edition of 5 signed certificate of authenticity included.
