Here I wanted to use some left over wood and glued it to the mdf before cutting it in the laser machine. It is the first time I try it and I really like the puzzle effect and the extra step it gets. Added white resin, where you still can have a glimpse to the background. As resin is always tricky to work with, two dust pieces hit the surface and is now a part of the artwork. My gallery are most interested in these shaped still pieces, since they give a pause to the other more expressive paintings. Do note, that the size is difficult to get right, since the form is changning, but it is measured at the longes and widest ends. Signed on the back

Danish artist and pattern designer. My paintings are hand shaped, CNC cut or laser cut mdf/plywood in my shared studio. Sometimes I add epoxy for the shine and matte look together. I don't think it is hip to be square, so my wall hangings are always shaped.. That can also be handy, since they can fit in different places, like between two close doors. I always add some A5 cards with my pattern design with purchases.
